This Week’s Inspiration: Fudge Cake Cupcakes
Once again, one of my husband’s coworkers requested some sort of chocolate themed bake for their birthday, and I found this excellent recipe!
Happily, this sheetcake recipe was reworked by the King Arthur’s Flour test kitchen for cupcakes! Even better, it’s quick and easy to make. The cupcake itself possesses a light chocolaty taste, which works well with the super-rich frosting. Frosting that you don’t need to fret over pipping on! Instead you dip, kinda like a really thick glaze, the cupcake into a pot of warm frosting! So simple and easy! Sprinkles add a nice texture to the whole thing!
Agatha Christie: I can see Miss Marple making these for a village fete or Tuppence for one of her kids’ birthday. Even Poirot, I think, would enjoy these (if they were more deftly decorated).
